Become Anonymous over Internet using TOR proxy Linux/ubuntu

Today, I will show you how you can become anonymous over the internet using TOR proxy in Kali Linux


Become anonymous over internet


[OPTIONAL]First check your IP and Note it down
for checking it, type.
root@linux2-0:~# firefox www.dnsleaktest.com

root@linux2-0:~# apt-get install tor
root@linux2-0:~# apt-get install proxychains
------------------------------------------------
[OPTIONAL] - check
root@linux2-0:~# Service tor status
------------------------------------------------
root@linux2-0:~# leafpad /etc/proxychains.conf
----------------------
It will open

# proxychains.conf  VER 3.1

#        HTTP, SOCKS4, SOCKS5 tunneling proxifier with DNS.
#

# The option below identifies how the ProxyList is treated.
# only one option should be uncommented at time,

# all proxies chained in the order as they appear in the list

# Strict - Each connection will be done via chained proxies
# all proxies chained in the order as they appear in the list
# all proxies must be online to play in chain

# Random - Each connection will be done via random proxy
# (or proxy chain, see  chain_len) from the list.
# this option is good to test your IDS :)

# Make sense only if random_chain

# Quiet mode (no output from library)
#quiet_mode

 Proxy DNS requests - no leak for DNS data
proxy_dns

# Some timeouts in milliseconds
tcp_read_time_out 15000
tcp_connect_time_out 8000

# ProxyList format

#       (values separated by 'tab' or 'blank')
#

#        Examples:

# meanwile
# defaults set to "tor"

socks4  127.0.0.1 9050

Uncomment
dynamic chain

Comment
#Strict chain
and
#Random chain

At the end, Change

socks4  127.0.0.1 9050
[OPTIONAL]
or leave it to default
You can change the proxy as many times you want and as many as you want, you can find it in many websites Just search for a free proxy.

socks4 192.168.1.49 1080
socks4/5[    IP    ][PORT]
-------------------------------------
Now, type

If you want to know what is the status of your Anonymity, Type
root@linux2-0:~# service tor status

If you want to start it, Type
root@linux2-0:~# service tor start

If you want to stop it,Type
root@linux2-0:~# service tor stop

If you want to Restart it,Type
root@linux2-0:~# service tor restart

Now type,

root@linux2-0:~# proxychains firefox www.ipchicken.com

and see if the IP has been changed or Not.
